A little bit about me......My name is Ms. Kyla Gill. I am a graduate of Texas Woman's University. This will be my fifth year at A.V. Cato, and my third year in 2nd grade. My focus this year will be encouraging and incorporating goal setting and data tracking  for my students. I want them to take control of their own learning, and tracking their progress throughout the year is a huge component to that. Another goal of mine for the 2020-2021 school year is for me to monitor my students' data and use the data to better understand and meet their educational needs. It takes a village to raise children, and I am excited to partner with you this year to help your child succeed! 

I am proud to be born and raised in Texas, but I love traveling when I can.  I enjoy spending time with family, playing with my sweet dogs, Penny and Gracie, going to sporting events, reading, catching up on TV shows, and instilling a passion for learning in the next generation.
